The L.I.T. Group welcomed the managing director of EWE Baskets Oldenburg and its head coach at a management meeting on Thursday. The Brake-based logistics company has been the exclusive partner of the professional basketball team since last season.
43 trainees have started their careers in logistics at the L.I.T. Group. This year, a dual student is also starting the “Business in Practice” degree programme. After the two-day introductory event, they start work at one of the twelve out of a total of 20 training locations.
L.I.T. Speditions GmbH has been operating a trailer yard with space for more than 170 swap bodies in the Port of Hamburg since 1 May 2023. The area of around 20.000 square metres serves as a buffer warehouse for the production supply of a well-known German car manufacturer.
From 9 to 12 May, we will be represented twice at the leading international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management in Munich. There we show our entire service portfolio. This ranges from warehousing and transport using various modes of transport to contract logistics and comprehensive value-added services. At the trade fair, we will also be showcasing services that are offered as a result of the consistent expansion of our portfolio.

Our six warehouses in the Bremen Freight Village (GVZ) tower imposingly into the sky. In the immediate vicinity of the A1 and A28 motorways and Neustädter Hafen, our L.I.T. Lager und Logistik GmbH offers our customers numerous value-added services on an area of around 160.000 square metres.
The year 2022 was marked by crises. L.I.T. is resilient and has set a decisive course. For the current issue of L.I.T.eratur, we asked our Management Board how the Group is meeting the challenges and how important internationalisation is becoming.
The Christmas parcel convoy has been travelling from Germany to Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine for more than 20 years. The fundraising campaign by charitable organisations helps to bring a little joy to children at Christmas. The L.I.T. site in Brake was also busy collecting, packing and handing in items.
The L.I.T. Group has founded its own company, L.I.T. Solutions GmbH. The aim of the new company is to lend its own projects even more professionalism through highly efficient management.
Mark Bruns recently not only celebrated his length of service with the company, but also received a certificate from Management Board member Julian Lachnitt as a sign of his general power of attorney over L.I.T. AG.
