L.I.T. AG ONCE AGAIN AWARDED »TOP AUSBILDUNG 2026« QUALITY SEAL

Outstanding quality of training within the L.I.T. Group

Brake, 20 April 2026 – L.I.T. AG has once again been recognized for its outstanding training quality, receiving the »TOP Ausbildung 2026« (TOP Training 2026) seal of excellence. The certification was awarded by the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and confirms both the high quality and the systematic advancement of vocational training within the L.I.T. Group.

During a full-day on-site audit, the training programme at L.I.T. underwent a comprehensive evaluation. In addition to a presentation of the training structures, the auditors were given insights into core processes and digital tools. The assessment was further supported by a tour of the Brake facility and separate group discussions with instructors and apprentices. A particular focus was placed on whether the defined structures are consistently implemented in day-to-day operations.

The certification is based on an extensive IHK criteria catalogue comprising approximately 50 individual benchmarks. The training was evaluated along the entire development chain: from recruiting and the start of the apprenticeship to its organisation, execution, and finally the examination, completion, and personnel development.

The audit confirms a structured and individually managed training programme that holds high strategic importance within the company. Particular emphasis was placed on the clear systematic organisation, the high level of motivation and identification among the instructors, and the consistent integration of apprentices into daily business operations.

Currently, the L.I.T. Group trains around 103 apprentices throughout Germany, approximately 32 of whom are based at the headquarters in Brake. The range of vocational training primarily includes specialists in freight forwarding and logistics services, office management, IT, warehouse logistics, as well as professional drivers.

»This is primarily the achievement of many colleagues who bring the training to life every single day.«

Melanie Kalla, HR Officer for Vocational Training

In recent years, the L.I.T. Group has specifically enhanced its training structures, with a particular focus on the organisation and digital support of training processes. Examples include the use of a proprietary training tool to manage deployment plans, learning objectives, and feedback processes, as well as supplementary digital solutions for exam preparation. At the same time, personal guidance from instructors and training officers remains a central component of the programme.

»It was important for us to see whether the goals we set for ourselves actually work in practice. The audit confirmed exactly that. This is primarily the achievement of many colleagues who bring the training to life every single day,« explains Julian Derst, Head of Education and Training at the L.I.T. Group.

Melanie Kalla, HR Officer for Vocational Training, adds: »High-quality training at L.I.T. is the result of clear structures and close supervision. Our instructors are always involved, supporting the apprentices wherever possible and remaining readily available for them.«

The L.I.T. Group is increasingly focusing on the development of young talent beyond the initial apprenticeship and continues to expand its personnel development programmes. One key element is a trainee programme that offers both internal talent and external applicants a structured entry into more advanced roles.

With this successful certification, the L.I.T. Group underscores its position as an attractive employer for vocational training and will continue to invest specifically in the qualification and development of its employees in the future.
