ACQUISITION OF PARTS OF THE TRANSPORT BUSINESS OF VAN EUPEN LOGISTIK GMBH & CO.KG

L.I.T. Speditions GmbH acquires parts of van Eupen Logistik’s transport business and strengthens its position in beverage logistics.

Strategic expansion in the transport sector: L.I.T. Speditions GmbH acquired parts of the transport business of the medium-sized logistics provider van Eupen Logistik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Essen and Dorsten, effective May 1, 2025. With this step, the L.I.T. Group significantly expands its presence in the beverage logistics segment and simultaneously extends its operational service portfolio with specialized equipment and an established customer network.

Van Eupen Logistik GmbH & Co.KG has decades of experience in beverage logistics and enjoys an excellent reputation in the industry. Its customer base includes well-known beverage manufacturers – including companies for which L.I.T. Speditions GmbH already provides logistics services. Existing customer relationships will be maintained and further developed as part of the acquisition. At the same time, new opportunities arise for acquiring additional clients in the beverage industry.

In addition to expanding the customer base, the L.I.T. Group is also growing in personnel: 120 qualified and committed employees are immediately joining teams at various locations. Moreover, the company’s fleet is being expanded by 85 tractor units and 110 specialized trailers, further enhancing operational performance.

The asset acquisition aligns with the L.I.T. Group’s strategic goal of offering existing and potential clients comprehensive logistics services from a single source and providing more than just transport services along the entire supply chain.
