In addition to Head of Training Astrid Jonat and Managing Director Simeon Breuer, apprentice Geke Bischoff and professional driver instructor Carsten Harms are delighted with the award from the IHK Oldenburg
The L.I.T. Gruppe is among the best training companies in the Oldenburg region. This has been confirmed by the IHK Oldenburg, which awarded us the »Top Ausbildung« seal of quality in mid-December. The certificate confirms that companies provide excellent training quality. Our junior staff program has held a high priority for us for many years. This is why we have already been awarded several times for our high training quality.
»Starting a career in the logistics industry is not very attractive to many young professionals. The IHK quality seal confirms that our training is of a very high quality,« says our Head of Training Astrid Jonat. To receive the award, we first assessed our training program ourselves. Seven areas were examined: career orientation, start of training, training plan, learning objectives, training staff, cooperation with vocational schools and partners, including participation in IHK examination boards, and personnel development. Subsequently, a three-member team from the IHK Oldenburg carried out an on-site quality audit. To this end, they spoke with all parties involved (instructors, training officers and apprentices, quality management, and personnel development).
We scored points primarily due to the individual and intensive support provided to our junior staff, which includes comprehensive onboarding and regular feedback meetings. In order to optimally prepare our young talent for work in a logistics company, we also train them on company-specific and industry-specific topics. In addition, we offer prospective specialists the opportunity to gain professional experience through internships abroad. »At the end of the training, we develop a plan for the future with every apprentice. For those who have unanswered questions, our doors are always open,« says Jonat. In addition, every newcomer is assigned a mentor from the year above them at the beginning, who provides them with help and advice. A special highlight is the apprentice truck. The truck is independently managed and driven by the apprentices. Currently, 75 career starters are completing their apprenticeship with us.
As early as May of this year, VerkehrsRundschau recognized us as the second-best training company in the logistics industry. »The fact that we have now been awarded again is a great appreciation for our training program,« says Jonat.
