“After my apprenticeship as a driver I switched from the HGV to the office where I took on the role of Drive Team Manager. As part of this, I went to Baunatal for three years to take over management of the drive team for the ‘Central’ office. I then returned to our headquarters in Brake because I wanted to move back to my home town. In the future I aim to train further to gain a ‘Master of Motor Traffic’ qualification, which will also be supported by L.I.T.”

“After my apprenticeship as a Haulage and Logistics Administrator I was initially given a permanent position in the order scheduling team in the part-load department. After one year working in the role I took advantage of the opportunity L.I.T. offered to train further internally and completed a one-and-a-half-year part-time course to qualify as a ‘Freight Traffic and Logistics Administrator’ at the External Trade and Transport Academy (DAV) in Bremen. This course was very vocational and fitted in well with my professional life, so in a short amount of time I was able to take on more tasks and areas of responsibility, and eventually I became head of department.”
