Four new locations for L.I.T. Air & Sea GmbH: The division of the L.I.T. Group is expanding its national and international market presence with the opening of locations in D\u00fcsseldorf, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Nuremberg. The company is thus creating proximity to its customers and pursuing a geostrategic approach: the new locations ensure that L.I.T. has the opportunity to strengthen and further expand its global network.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are continuing to drive forward our growth trajectory of recent years. With the new locations, we are on the ground where our customers need us and are creating springboards for global expansion,\u201d says Michael Borowski, Managing Director of L.I.T. Air & Sea GmbH. The location in Amsterdam, which opened on March 1, is in close proximity to Europe’s second most important air freight airport, while the branch in Istanbul, with its proximity to the port, offers locational advantages for sea freight. With the D\u00fcsseldorf location, which opened on February 1, the company is represented in a metropolitan area where many of its customers are based. \u201cIn D\u00fcsseldorf, we can look after our existing customers in North Rhine-Westphalia locally. At the same time, we have good contacts with South Korean top companies thanks to our employee structure there, which gives us the opportunity to tap into new markets,\u201d says Borowski.<\/p>\n

The expansion of the global network is also the focus of the other location openings. For example, the presence in Amsterdam offers good networking opportunities to Belgium and the location in Nuremberg, which opened on July 1, opens the door to southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria. With its presence in Istanbul since June 1, L.I.T. Air & Sea GmbH has created the opportunity to expand contacts to China, one of Turkey’s most important trading partners.<\/p>\n

Borowski sees a further advantage of the Turkish branch due to the current difficult situation regarding the import of products from Asia: \u201cAs part of the L.I.T. Group, we offer our customers flexible solutions. For example, goods from China can first be imported to Istanbul and then transported onwards to Northern Europe by truck.\u201d It is also already possible to transport Asian goods not directly to Hamburg, but first to Barcelona and from there by rail to Germany.<\/p>\n

As an intermediary between customers and service providers and as a member of various global logistics networks, L.I.T. Air & Sea has a wide range of contacts from which customers also benefit. The new locations lay the foundation for expanding these even further. \u201cWith these and other planned expansions, our aim is to create synergy effects within the Group and to establish a global L.I.T. network. Since the beginning of the year, with Andreas Janetzko as Head of International Business Building, we have the necessary internal know-how for global expansion and thus new opportunities that L.I.T. has never had before,\u201d says Borowski. The division’s goal is to double its turnover from 22 million euros last year to 50 million euros in the next two years.<\/p>\n

While the company hopes to acquire major customers with the new locations in the future, the focus is currently on SMEs. The appreciation for personal service and local support is particularly high there.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
