KG is a new shareholder in the petrol station network of VTM fair GmbH. Transport and logistics companies join forces to purchase fuel at favourable conditions. Specially programmed software makes it possible to buy fuel at favourable prices. It ensures that the lowest price is achieved at the time of purchase. Scharf Transport is now building its own filling station at the depot in Kassel, where members of the network will be able to order Adblue and diesel at predetermined conditions. There will also be showers and snack and coffee vending machines for the drivers. Scharf Transport has already purchased its own trailer to deliver the fuel. Other shareholders in the service station network are the L.I.T. Drivers can fill up with fuel at five pumps. A video system ensures security on the premises and also protects against theft. The filling station is due to open at the beginning of next year. VTM fair then takes over operations, including purchasing, accounting, invoicing, risk management and controlling. However, the filling station will not only be accessible to members around the clock, seven days a week, but also to companies outside the network.<\/p>\n          \n\n          <p>Scharf Transport has already purchased its own trailer to deliver the fuel. It will travel to the Kassel site twice a day. The aim within the filling station network is to purchase further trailers in order to carry out the transport completely independently in the future. &#8220;We also benefit from the fact that our shareholders, such as the L.I.T. Group and Scharf Transport, have a large fleet of vehicles,&#8221; says Rettberg.<\/p>\n          \n\n          <p>Further petrol stations are currently under construction and will be connected to the network in the future. For example, the L.I.T. Group is building a filling station at the company&#8217;s site in Bremen. New petrol pumps are also planned in Bamberg and Coburg. Rettberg: &#8220;We are also modernizing existing petrol stations so that they can cope with the increased operation.&#8221; VTM fair has also responded to the growth of the network in terms of personnel. The aim within the filling station network is to purchase further trailers in order to carry out the transport completely independently in the future. &#8220;We also benefit from the fact that our shareholders, such as the L.I.T. Group and Scharf Transport, have a large fleet of vehicles,&#8221; says Rettberg.<\/p>\n<p>Further petrol stations are currently under construction and will be connected to the network in the future. For example, the L.I.T. Group is building a filling station at the company&#8217;s site in Bremen. New petrol pumps are also planned in Bamberg and Coburg. Rettberg: &#8220;We are also modernizing existing petrol stations so that they can cope with the increased operation.&#8221; VTM fair has also responded to the growth of the network in terms of personnel.
