Ferry MS Guntsiet
For you, we'll set sail.
Our ferry, the MS Guntsiet, transports approx. 120 passangers as a person and bicycle ferry from the city quay in Brake to the nearby recreational area Harriersand.
Approx. 11 km long, this Weser island with its beautiful, long sand beaches and varied flora and fauna represents an essential day-trip destination in our region.
From April 01 to October 24, we securely carry our day-trip passengers with the MS Guntsiet up to 10 times a day back and forth. Between the running times, our little ferry is available for you for harbour tours and charter trips.

Return journey from Harriersand 15 minutes later.
- The ferry is as well available for harbour tours between the running times. The trip price starting from Euro 60.00 is to be paid before the trip starts.
- For the return trip from Harriersand, the tickets are to be shown for the verification; otherwise, the corresponding ticket price is to be paid.
- Listed times represent a minimum schedule. On request, a more flexible service can be provided.
- Stormy waters, high and low tide, machine damages and unfavourable waters release us from the maintenance of the schedule.

Charter trips: Price on demand
Disabled individuals and any associated caretakers receive a 50 % discount on single tickets with the display of official identification. Recipients of unemployment insurance, social assistance or the like receive a 50 % discount on single tickets after the display of an official confirmation (identification).
We define children as those individuals ages 4 to 15. Older children or university students (maximum age 23 years) receive the child price after the display of a corresponding piece of identification or student ID. Children under the age of 4 travel free under the supervision of an adult.
